Floyd Anderson is a Patent Attorney with the firm. Prior to joining the Volentine firm, Floyd was Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Broadcom Limited (previously known as Avago Technologies), a leading supplier of analog interface components for communications, industrial and consumer applications. Floyd took that current position as the head of the Intellectual Property Department at Avago after transferring from Agilent Technologies who sold their semiconductor business to private investors in late 2005. He set up the IP function at Avago and currently manages an international team responsible for the patent portfolio, for licensing transactions, managing numerous IP litigations, and providing general IP legal support. Prior to joining Agilent in 2000, Floyd was an Assistant General Counsel at Verizon, and previously worked at IBM and Motorola as a patent attorney.
Floyd Attended law school at the University of Arizona, graduating summa cum laude.
